Our Picks (November 18- November 20)
| Ethan | No surprise with the top pick- records of some kind will most likely be broken this weekend with Twilight: Breaking Dawn. The other new release of the weekend should garner some decent numbers, as the first Happy Feet is pretty well liked. Then there’s the trickle-down effect, and I see last week’s top three picking up spots 3-5 this week, underneath the new films on the block. Doesn’t seem like that hard of a week to pick, but that probably means I’ll go 0-fer and just embarrass myself. |

| Evan | Is it cheating because I forgot to send in my picks until after the midnight release of Twilight? No, I don't think so because people let their teenage daughters have their own opinions and middle aged women who wish they could be their teenage daughters will follow. Me? I would spend money elsewhere... |

The Top Five
| #1 | Twilight: Breaking Dawn | $140 million | Week 1 |
| #2 | Happy Feet Two | $22 million | Week 1 |
| #3 | Immortals | $12.3 million | Week 2 |
| #4 | Jack & Jill | $12 million | Week 2 |
| #5 | Puss in Boots | $10.7 million | Week 4 |
| Apparently Ethan was right and this did turn out to be a very easy week of picks, with both our guys calling it exactly right! Breaking Dawn brings in a dollar figure we haven’t seen for a few months, but it still isn’t big enough to actually break any records. Still, $140 million isn’t too shabby for a movie that a large contingent of people refuse to ever watch. The rest of the top 5 is a bit of a drop off, but even Puss in Boots at 5 still manages over $10 million, so really this is a pretty stellar weekend at the theater. Immortals hangs onto its lead over Jack & Jill from last week, but by quite the slim margin, and Happy Feet Two proves that animated dancing and singing penguins can still draw a pretty decent crowd even if there are some vampires around to spoil the fun. | |||
